Treating one's mother is not easy, finding the key to recounting such an intimate, distant and in this painful case frightened me.
But the very thing that frightened me most surprised me. The bond, the closeness, the sisterhood with my mother increased to the nth degree and I felt like I was finally complete.
But the biggest change was in her, in her being her woman, being a mother but above all being a DAUGHTER. I felt her gradually reconsider the various family relationships, while I felt the scar give way under her hands and memories that she did not think she had resurfaced.
Once again the change starts from within, from the woman and not only from the physical sign.
